Cohorted Beauty Box - September

20:10

The Cohorted Black Editon box remains my personal favourite of the beauty subscription services I have tried, regularly featuring great brands (such as Nars, Mac and The Balm) and more often than not its in the form of full sized products and with the exception of a Mac False Lash Mascara sample thats exactly what we got this month!

Featuring 4 full sized products and one cute sample size with a fantastic mixture of brands including - Percy & Reed, Cargo, Kure Bazaar and Mac.

First up was two fantastic smelling (and looking) products from Percy & Reed, this month the box treated us to full sized can of Dry Shampoo (retails for £12), a handbag (or morning after) essential for pretty much most women these days. It has a lightweight formula and doesn't feel powdery like some dry shampoos along with having a great scent!

Personally I wash my hair daily (super bad I know, sorry to any hairdressers reading this!) as typically my hair dries pretty straight I can look flat in terms of bounce and height so, a lightweight but effective dry shampoo is perfect for adding a little more texture and volume.

The second Percy & Reed product we got was again, full sized. The Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Overnight Recovery Treatment  (retails for £20). Promises to repair hair overnight with a quick sink in formula which is perfect if you don't like the feeling of heavy product in your hair.

Oh, and it smells divine.

Next in the box was a pretty, office and daytime friendly nude nail polish from a brand I hadn't heard of before - Kure Bazaar who make nail polishes from 85% natural ingredients (including... potato?!) to give an eco friendly high shine finish.

Its also supposedly a brand beloved by the French and if theres a cosmetic thats loved by the French, its got to be good right?

Finally the biggest and most eye-catching item was certainly the Cargo - Down Land Under Palette (retails for £35).

We have received this brand in the box before and it has always been in the form of full sized products but this might just be my fave and feels somewhat extra generous when you take into account you get a great black pencil liner and a double ended brush included.

This palette is made up of 6 matte and 6 shimmer shades with beautiful warm neutrals, browns and mauves making up the vast majority of the palette but with a fantastic show of interest also boasting a petrol green, one teal-blue and a true mid blue shadows.

These shadows are so versatile and creamy and this palette is perfect for travelling with its plentiful day-time appropriate neutral shades sat alongside shadows for those that prefer things a little brighter.

Overall this box had a great value of £85 an absolute steal when you consider its only £35 per month!
