Seventeen Falsifeye HD Mascara17:00
Mascara is one of those products that I really have never found a reason to go high end on.
I love premium beauty, I have foundations, blushers, bronzers, eyeshadows, eyeliners, primers, highlighters.... you name it from brands not found in the drug store.
Its not that I've never tried high end mascaras, I've bought lovely ones from the likes of Dior, Mac and Benefit before which I did like its just I didn't like them quite enough to move me away from whats on offer for under £10 at Boots.
Enter the £6.99 ultra lengthening mascara which I love.
Recommended by the ever wonderful Wayne Goss I felt the need to give this Seventeen one a go.
I personally don't suffer from a lack of fullness in my lashes - so what I look for in mascara is length and this delivers in excess.
I find this holds a curl very well, the pigmentation is fantastic and have yet to experience any flaking or dryness throughout the day.
The wand is not my favourite, personally I can find these slim plastic wands sort of scratchy but its a must on most lengthening mascaras and so I can look past that.
It works well at really separating out each lash to a gorgeous 'fan' finish and works really well on the bottom lashes too - if like me you are into that kind of thing.
Its very build-able and I don't find any clumping the more I apply.
I've worn it above without curling my lashes before hand and as somebody with relatively short lashes the difference it makes it quite dramatic, I sometimes use VERY natural false lashes to get the same look but this is obviously much easier - and cheaper!
