Collection - Face The Day Palette

Collection is always a go to brand for me, its super affordable and makes the best drugstore concealer which I absolutely swear by.

I took a recent trip to Boots and I saw this palette and thought I'd give it a go. It contains four eyeshadows, a blusher, highlighter and bronzer.

I would describe this palette as the perfect travel companion, with eyeshadows that are quite similar but work well for a day to night look.

The bronzer is probably my least favourite product, its got quite an orange tone to it so I will probably avoid it for bronzing but could easily use it as an eyeshadow in a pinch.

All the eyeshadows are nice, the lightest shade (sadly they don't have names for me to reference) has the worst colour pay off but its certainly build able so it works well if you don't want to carry around lots of palettes or individual eyeshadows with you.

The highlighter looks quite shimmery in the pan, and it does have this quality on the skin but doesn't appear glittery like some other highlighters I have.
You get a really good product pay off with it and it does give a nice glow to the face.

The hidden gem of this palette is the blush - I love this blush, its a stunning coral-pink with a slight glowing finish (not glittery or loaded with shimmer) and the pigmentation is fantastic, I've been reaching for this blusher more than I thought I would.

The packaging is cardboard with a magnet shut, it makes it ideal for travel but the clear lid is a little flimsy so be careful with that if you pick it up.

The outside can get a little scuffed easily (as you can see from mine which was this way when I bought it) but for £6.99 I think they put more into the product than the packaging which is fine by me!
