Liz Earle - Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

  • Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser 100ml starter kit* -  £14.25*
A while ago (like months ago) Liz Earle were kind enough to send me probably their most famous product their Hot Cloth Cleanser. I wanted to really try this product out before I rushed to give a review, I spent a long time using this product daily as I really wanted to see the results before recommending it or otherwise.

I have particularly dry skin, it is however really sensitive to oils and chemicals in cleansers, moisturisers, exfoliants ect I have used in the past so I have to be careful what I put on my skin. This product has loads of amazing reviews online so I was keen to try it out.

I wasn't at all disappointed with it, I cant rave about this product enough. The formula is creamy and nourishing to my skin type whilst removing my makeup quickly and easily. I apply this all over my face, including my eyes and I don't experience any irritation or anything like that even when I use it on sensitive areas.

I think this really is the holy grail of cleansers, I purchased some for my friend for her birthday who loves it, and my mum is also a huge fan and she has an oily skin type and she claims to have no breakouts since using this product, which I think is really rather phenomenal considering we have such different skin types.

I honestly cannot tell you to buy this product enough times, its totally worth the hype the bloggersphere gives it, Its available in John Lewis too which is useful. I have sampled other products from Liz Earle's skin care range such as their toners and moisturisers as my mum has brought them and they are equally lovely.

Liz Earle is also releasing a special edition of its Hot Cloth cleanser which is infused with Rose & Lavender on the 6th of September.

Liz says: “Our Special Edition Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser includes the same award-winning concentrated cream formula to remove daily grime and make up to leave skin clear, smooth and exceptionally clean, but with a special twist - a unique blend of rose and lavender essential oils to calm and relax your senses, ideal for use to ensure a good night’s sleep. Perfect partners; use our original Cleanse & Polish in the morning and our Special Edition in the evenings.”

I personally really dislike Lavender, it gives me headaches which makes this an edition I will have to avoid unfortunately, but it sounds like its perfect for a night-time cleanser because of the relaxing properties of Lavender. I might try this cleanser to see how well I get on with it and donate it to my mum if I really hate it!

Have you ever tried any Liz Earle skin care products? What did you think of them?
